Giving Your Applications Eyes
Buried deep in the outpour of information that comes out after a Spring COMMON conference was this great piece last year about how Watson and Google’s Cloud vision API can interpret photos and what information that can be gained by simply submitting the photo without any other information. The results were surprisingly effective (and this was over a year ago). This clearly shows that IBM i applications have the ability to take relevant data from photos (one of the fastest growing forms of gathering information), send it to one of these AI's and get back requested information.
